Make your way to the top of Sinqindi Mountain leaving the Lodge at 5pm. After a bracing ride of about one and a half hours settle down at a very special spot on the top of the mountain where the cliffs fall away directly below you and you can observe our Black Eagles hanging in the air, riding on the thermals.

Our eager Lodge staff will have set out your crystal and silver dinner out in the open and you can enjoy an African adventure that will take your breath away. Watch as the sun sets and the stars come out to play. Listen to the sounds of the African bush – a sound you will never forget. You will take home a memory to last a lifetime. Ride down the mountain again in the dark and once back at the Lodge you can enjoy a nightcap before retiring

This activity can be undertaken by persons who are not necessarily riding fit. However, should you have not ever ridden a horse then we would recommend arriving a day before planning an outride when you can be shown the ropes in the stableyard and lunge ring before venturing out. You will be required to sign an indemnity and we are able to supply helmets if you do not have your own.
